Thanks for joining us.  Here we go on our biggest travel adventure yet – and it’s Oz!  We’ve made Melbourne our destination and it’s going to be awesome.

This is a totally new approach for me to document the experiences of travelling and exploring so please bear with me as I negotiate the requirements for creating this blog.  They’ll be errors and amendments but hopefully some interesting bits as well so stay with us.

I hope Emma and I can keep it up to date as much as possible with pics and words as our experiences grow, they’ll be our memories that we’ll be sharing as well as a public window on our journey…

Preparations are going really well for our big trip now that the storm damaged roof has been fixed and our new Velux has been installed – I have the small matter of a Sprint Triathlon to get through on the Sunday before we go, it looks like the weather’s going to be kind after all the awful wind and rain recently so that’s a huge help. Once that’s out of the way and after a little rest we’ll be packing and tracking…
