Happy birthday to the most gorgeous girl ever..  19 today, blimey the years pass fast, make the most of them while you can and enjoy these moments.

We had a lie in – as is traditional on the morning of a birthday – obvs.

Alison and her family all came around to ours at mid-day, Caitlin had made Emma a fantastic Lemon sponge cake.  It got topped with candles, paraded with the traditional song, sliced and shared, Yum yum, thank you Caitlin. Video is on Facebook, not here.

The weather topped 30C today and we went over to Melbourne Port area for a walk along the beach, another Fish and Chip lunch (not as good as The Salty Dog’s), more beachcombing followed by a trip back over the Westgate Bridge to go down to Williamstown Beach for some delicious sorbet’s to take the edge off the heat.  Not a Rock and Roll birthday, but anything presented on an Australian beach with the temp in the 30’s is just so much better and of course, just doing something simple with someone you love.
